bikeiberia is the only bicycle tour & rental business that's owned and operated by Portuguese and Spanish nationals. Thus, nobody else knows the treasures of the Iberian Peninsula better than we do. We not only carried out detailed studies about Portugal’s and Spain’s historic and cultural landmarks but also have a lifetime of experience about the destinations you'll be visiting. With us you will get to know places that most other travel companies haven't even heard of.

// Our philosophy

bikeiberia believes in traveling with all senses wide open. The vantage point of your own bicycle gives an outlook to the most beautiful surroundings. The fresh and clean air carries scents of flowers and blossoms. Only by leaving the car behind, one can hear the sheep’s bleat or the locals' chat. Few things feel better than the Iberian sun on your skin while pedaling through an idyllic valley. A regional specialty or a glass of local wine seldom taste better than after healthy exercise in the outdoors.

The character of a region needs to be actively discovered. Traveling on the footsteps of the regional culture & history reveals its true spirit. Via a close contact with the environment, rich and long lasting impression will be found. On a bicycle one never loses the freedom of being on his/her own ways and the possibility to see the world a little differently. Anyway, bikeiberia does not strive to participate in the “Vuelta de España”. On the contrary, we are convinced that by slowing down one experiences more of the world. In any case, we also welcome riders with faster paces and will find good biking solutions for them.
