Évora to Monsaraz
These
2 day-rides take us from Évora right across the heart
of the Alentejo, ending on the shores of the River Guadiana,
which forms the border with Spain. Away from the tarmac
we will ride trails in a way that no one does anymore. People
are living their lives and going about their duties in their
old way: apparently not impressed with modern lifestyles.
Our helmets and bike gear will get some curious but friendly
looks! The ride's length is the main challenge; technically,
the most interesting and difficult portion will be the last
four miles down to the River Guadiana a fast downhill
over slate!
