Évora - Estremoz - Évora
Highlights:   The tour features a Duke's palace, the white gold (marble) quarries and museum, erudite and popular traditional architecture based on marble, and a pottery workshop.

This tour departs from Lisboa. A visit to Estremoz is well worth it if you are interested in erudite and popular traditional architecture based on marble, and the history links it to the political and amorous life of the first kings of Portugal, in which the serene Queen Saint Isabel had a relevant role. The lower part of the towns hosts an annual Alentejo crafts fair, and in the higher part of the town you will find spectacular and imposing monuments. The Ducal Palace is the next place of interest to visit, riding through quarries and vineyards to get there. This area has a long tradition of red clay handcrafts with many workshops producing a variety of goods, from big jars for storing wine and olive oil, to plates and table sets, and, of course, decorative objects.

Price includes 3 days bike rental, 2 picnics, 2 dinners, 2 nights accommodation with breakfast, guide, daily itinerary details, back-up vehicle and transfer to and from Lisboa.
